Our BIG ADVENTURE general admission ticket allows access to:
- Unlimited return train rides to Shelley Station
- Unlimited rides on The Clayton Flyer (miniature ride-on railway)
- Unlimited access to the playgrounds at Clayton West and Shelley Stations
- Unlimited access to The Shed, our new undercover activity space
- Unlimited access to The Pillow, our new JUMPING PILLOW
- Access to the cafe at Clayton West
- Access to The Turntable dessert parlour at Shelley Station
- Access to the picnic areas at Clayton West and Shelley Stations
When buying a BIG ADVENTURE ticket, you'll select an entry timeslot NOT a train departure time.
Your chosen timeslot is when you should ARRIVE on site. ENTRY TIMESLOTS ARE: 10:00-11:30, 11:30-13:00, 13:00-15:15. Please do not arrive earlier than your booked slot as we will be unable to admit you.
Once on site, you can travel on any train services you wish (first-come, first-served).
On a GREEN TIMETABLE, trains depart Clayton West at 10:30, 11:10, 11:50, 12:30, !3:10, 13:50, 14:30, 15:10 & 15:50.
On a PINK TIMETABLE, trains depart Clayton West at 10:30, 11:40, 12:50, 14:05 & 15:20.
Tickets should be purchased online, in advance of your visit. This can be done at any time before arrival subject to availability. In-person bookings on the day are not currently accepted, and we regret that we cannot accept telephone or emailed bookings on the day. To avoid disappointment, please ensure you have made your booking online before you arrive.

Annual Pass Holders
If you are an Annual Pass Holder, you should have received a letter from us detailing your booking instructions. If you haven't received your letter, or you're having issues booking, please contact us on 01484 865727 or email@example.com. Bookings should be made online and will be subject to availability.
Complimentary Ticket Holders / Ticket Offers / Vouchers Holders
If you wish to use a complimentary ticket, pass, voucher or offer you have received, you will need to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to make a booking at least 48 hours in advance, or follow the instructions for online booking found on some tickets/vouchers. When doing so, you will need to provide the details found on the voucher, so please have this handy when booking. Without it, we will be unable to make a booking for you. Please note you will also be required to hand the voucher into the Ticket Office on the day of your visit. We regret that bookings will be subject to availability.
Max Card Holders /Carers
If your child is a Max Card holder, or you are a registered Carer, you are entitled to special discounted tickets for some events/tickets (please check with us for exclusions!). Only one carer per booking is permitted. PROOF MUST BE SHOWN UPON ENTRY. Proof is the MAX Card and, for carers, proof must be PIP or DLA documentation. No proof will result in full price being charged upon entry.
REMEMBER: Your Max Card also entitles you to 10% off all purchases in our gift shop (needs to be presented at the till)
