Our HALFWAY PLAY DAY ticket includes:
- Unlimited return train rides to Skelmanthorpe (halfway up the line; trains do NOT run to Shelley)
- Unlimited rides on The Clayton Flyer (miniature ride-on railway)
- Unlimited access to the playground at Clayton West
- Unlimited access to The Shed, our undercover activity space
- Unlimited access to The Pillow, our covered jumping pillow
- The opportunity to help fill the engine's water tanks at intervals throughout the day
- Platform rides aboard Tram No.7
- Access to The Firebox cafe at Clayton West
- Access to the picnic area at Clayton West
You can arrive anytime from 10am - 14:15pm and stay with us until we close for the day.
Once on site, you can travel on any train services you wish (first-come, first-served).
Trains depart Clayton West at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 13:30, 14:30 & 15:30.
Wherever possible, tickets should be purchased online, in advance of your visit. This can be done at any time before arrival subject to availability. We regret that we cannot accept telephone or emailed bookings on the day, and we cannot guarantee availability for walk ups on the day.
Please note: A family of four ticket can be made up of all adults, all children or a mixture of adults & children.

Annual Pass Holders
If you are an Annual Pass Holder, you should have received a letter from us detailing your booking instructions. If you haven't received your letter, or you're having issues booking, please contact us on 01484 865727 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Bookings should be made online and will be subject to availability.
Complimentary Ticket Holders / Ticket Offers / Vouchers Holders
If you wish to use a complimentary ticket, pass, voucher or offer you have received, you will need to contact us at email@example.com to make a booking at least 48 hours in advance, or follow the instructions for online booking found on some tickets/vouchers. When doing so, you will need to provide the details found on the voucher, so please have this handy when booking. Without it, we will be unable to make a booking for you. Please note you will also be required to hand the voucher into the entrance staff on the day of your visit. We regret that bookings will be subject to availability.
Max Card Holders /Carers
If your child is a Max Card holder, or you are a registered Carer, you are entitled to special discounted tickets for some events/tickets (please check with us for exclusions!). Only one carer per booking is permitted. PROOF MUST BE SHOWN UPON ENTRY. Proof is the MAX Card and, for carers, proof must be PIP or DLA documentation. No proof will result in full price being charged upon entry.
REMEMBER: Your Max Card also entitles you to 10% off all purchases in our gift shop (needs to be presented at the till)
